Former CNN presenter, Piers Morgan, has urged Arsenal owners to appoint former Inter Milan manager, Antonio Conte as Mikel Arteta’s replacement at Emirate.
Morgan, who is a huge fan of Arsenal, wants the club’s chiefs to sack Arteta and replace him with Conte, who is without a job after departing Inter Milan this summer, as soon as possible.
He said this after Arsenal lost 2-0 at home to Premier League London rivals Chelsea on Sunday evening.
Chelsea defeated Arsenal, thanks to goals from Romelu Lukaku And Reece James.
In a tweet via his Twitter handle after the game, Morgan posted a picture of Conte, saying: “Pay this man whatever he wants to save us from this monotonous misery.”
