The immediate past National President of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Rev. Felix Omobude, has condemned last Friday’s attack on the convoy of Auchi, Edo State-based General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries (OFM), Apostle Johnson Suleman, by hoodlums suspected to be assassins.

Omobude, in an online statement yesterday by his media aide, Ralph Okhiria, condemned the attack on Suleman’s convoy, which led to the death of seven persons, including three police inspectors. The cleric urged law enforcement agencies to urgently bring the perpetrators to justice.

The former PFN national chairman, who is also the General Superintendent of the Gospel Light International Ministries (New Covenant Gospel Church), thanked God that Suleman survived the attack with the aid of a bullet-proof Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) in which he, his wife and children, who joined him from the airport in Benin, the Edo State capital, were riding to Auchi.

He commiserated with the families of the victims of the attack.

The former PFN national president said an attack on one Nigerian was an attack on all Nigerians.

Omobude urged the Federal Government to prioritise the security and safety of the lives of all Nigerians.

The PFN national chairman also advised all Nigerians not only to be security-conscious at all times but to always give credible information to law enforcement agencies about suspicious criminal activities in their neighbourhoods
