A Monday early morning fire disaster at the residence of a Damaturu based renowned farmer, Engr. Samaila Adamu, destroyed grains and apartments worth millions of naira.
Eyewitnesses claimed that the fire outbreak was caused by burning sesame stalks in the house which is located at 3-Bedroom Housing Estate, Gujba road, Damaturu, led to the destruction of four rooms, about one hundred bags of grains, vehicle spare parts as well many bags of fertilizers, among other valuables.
