When policy goes beyond mere thought, what a true policy depends on is, how its practicability and strategic steps, or implementation stages are put in place alongside the policy regime.
This is another opportunity for opposition parties to show Nigerians what alternative or better steps they would have taken in such circumstances because, during the campaigns for the 2023 general elections, the majority of candidates and political parties agreed that the subsidy had to go.

Today, the level of hardship caused by the newly implemented subsidy removal regime is not only painful but is gradually having a disastrous effect on society. There is a new growing crime rate, families going to bed without meals, and businesses losing money; everything appears to be running out of stem, and it is either we as a people are united to pull this true, or we have an opposition with a clear policy direction that can lead our government into the right part of the implementation.
