Ganduje In Trouble As Kano Anti-graft Commission Hires Falana Ahead Of Court Hearing

 

The Kano State Public Complaint and Anti-Corruption Commission (PCACC) has hired Femi Falana (SAN) to lead its counsels in the suit concerning the alleged dollar bribery video involving former Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje before the Federal High Court.

This was revealed on Friday, July 21, by the PCACC’s counsel, Usman Fari, during his conversation with journalists after the court sitting presided over by Justice A. M. Liman.

Boasting that the commission is ready for the court case, Fari noted that Falana will lead the team of lawyers at the next adjourned date for the case – Tuesday, July 25.

He said: “The commission has engaged the learned senior counsel, Femi Falana, SAN, to lead us in the matter. So by the next adjourned date, July 25, 2023, the Senior Advocate will lead the lawyers on behalf of the 6th respondent.

“We are ever ready for the matter.”

Meanwhile, Ganduje had been tipped as the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Daily Trust reliably gathered on Wednesday, July 19

Ganduje was at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, where he met with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and three governors who are members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday.
