Hunters Arrest Four Bandits In Kogi Raid

Some hunters have raided a bandits’ camp in Kogi State, arrested four suspects and destroyed a marijuana farm allegedly belonging to them.

The camp is in Osara in Okehi Local Government Area of the state.

Intelligence report revealed that the criminals turned the forest into an Indian hemp farm where they also trained dogs to ward off intruders.

During the raid, four of the bandits were arrested while 10 of their guard dogs were killed.

Speaking after the operation, the chairman of Okehi Local Government Area, Hon Abdulraheem Ohiare who led the operation, said Kogi is a no-go area for criminal elements.
