“I Thought It’s Only Bandits That Can Invade Churches And Mosques For Abduction” – Shehu Sani

Former Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Shehu Sani has reacted to the recent arrest of former Imo State governorship candidate, Uche Nwosu.

Recalls, Uche Nwosu, the Son-in-law to ex-Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, was whisked away during church service by armed policemen on Sunday December 26, 2021, at St Peter’s Anglican Church, Eziana Obieri in Nkwerre Local Government Area of Imo State.

According to The Punch, the policemen shot into the air as they carried out the arrest while members of the congregation cowered in fear.

Though Uche Nwosu has been released from custody, his earlier and manner of arrest generated mixed reactions amongst Nigerians. Based on that, former senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Shehu Sani has decided to air his opinion through a post that he made on his verified Twitter page.

According to Senator Shehu Sani, he thought it’s only bandits that can invade Churches and Mosques for abduction.
