The Executive Chairman of Ikpoba-Okha Local Government, Dr. Eric Osayande has approved the deployment of more men of the Ikpoba-Okha Vigilante Force to Aduwawa, Ogbeson, Ohovbe, Agbor Park, Oregbeni and environs
These areas are in Wards 4, 3 and 2 of the LGA respectively; they are mandated to also extend their operations to Uteh, Temboga and environs in Ward 1 of the Local Government Area
The approval follows requests made by residents of the aforementioned areas haven observed that the initial fifteen (15) men deployed to the areas can no longer cover the four (4) Wards
Recall that upon inauguration of a 70-man Vigilante Force last year, Osayande immediately directed the deployment of 15 men to the above areas
The Council Boss on Monday, directed the leader of the Force to immediately deploy more men to the said areas to curb criminal and other nefarious activities there; and has approved Ramat Park as the Force’s response centre
