The presidential election has been delayed at the All Progressives Congress(APC) vice presidential candidate, Kasim Shettima’s polling unit, Shettima Kukawa, polling unit 023, Lawan Bukar, Lamisula Ward, Maiduguri Borno State.
Shettima, who was welcomed by a crowd of supporters around 10am, drove away after interacting with the people.
He was accompanied by Borno Governor, Babagana Zulum to the polling unit.
As of the time of this report, observers, police personnel and journalists were spotted at the scene while the INEC officials were yet to arrive by 10:19 am
The vice presidential candidate is expected to return to the polling unit to cast his vote
