Armed Robbers Robbed a senior Journalist in Benin

The former Secretary of the Edo state council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Comrade Uche Olisa has been attacked and robbed by some unknown gunmen in Benin city Edo state.

His Pathfinder Jeep was snatched by the unauthorised armed men.

The Jeep which is golden in colour has registration number BEN 999 AM.

The report revealed that the unknown gunmen accosted him along Plymouth/Adesogbe Road by Obakhavbaye junction in Benin city.

The hoodlums also carted away cash, mobile phones and personal bag which have his AUTOMATED MACHINE CARDS (ATMs) and other private properties.

In an interview, Mr Uche Olisa appealed to anyone with useful information on the whereabouts of his car to contact the nearest police station or call police number on 08077773721 or 08037646272.

He, however, lamented the current crime situation in the state as he appealed to the public to look out for his Golden colour Pathfinder Jeep.
