Following the spate of criminal activities in the northern part of Nigeria, an Islamic cleric, Sheikh Gumi had scheduled a meeting with leaders of various bandit groups in the northern region.
According to the Cable news, it claims the meeting held in Zamfara State, on Wednesday February 3rd was geared to understand the grievances of those bandits and in the process reach an understanding with the leaders of the groups.
