Jubilation As Dr Ernest Afolabi Umakhihe Storms Uhunmwode, Meets APC Leaders

Dr. Ernest Afolabi Umakhihe visited the Uhunmwode local government area to meet with leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC). During his visit, Dr. Umakhihe said he hails for Owan East and is a descendant of Oba Ozelua, spoke about his strong ties to the Benin. He emphasized his commitment to addressing issues such as insecurity and agricultural development in the Edo state.

Dr. Umakhihe, a former civil servant who retired as a permanent secretary in the ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, highlighted his extensive experience and capabilities. He also expressed his determination to work with the traditional institution to gather intelligence on security challenges and promote agricultural revolution in the Uhunmwode area.

In addition to addressing security concerns, Dr. Umakhihe outlined his plans to improve education, create employment opportunities, and empower women in Edo state. He also stressed the need for infrastructure development, including the construction of standard roads.

Mrs. Florence Afolabi Umakhihe, in a show of support for her husband, presented wrappers to the women in the community, while Mr. Roland Alari, the auditor, and Barrister Hon Hope Iyare expressed their gratitude for Dr. Umakhihe’s visit and his efforts to support the local government.

The leaders offered prayers for Dr. Ernest Afolabi Umakhihe, expressing confidence in his ability to lead the APC to victory in the region. Overall, his visit was seen as a positive step towards addressing the needs of the Uhunmwode community and promoting the APC’s agenda.
