Ahead of the 2023 general elections, Felix Ochor, younger brother to the Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Ochor Christopher, on Monday resigned from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to join the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Ochor, popularly called Ibori of Ukwuani Local Government Area (LGA), announced his defection in Asaba, Delta State capital, after meeting with the Delta State Deputy Governorship candidate of the APC, Friday Osanebi.
He said he arrived at the decision due to the pedigree of Osanebi in Ndokwa axis of Delta state, adding that the deputy governorship candidate has no rival in local politics.
Meanwhile, a chieftain of the APC in Delta State, Ogbueshi Adizue Eluaka has insisted that the party would win the 2023 presidential election.
