Another fuel tanker has fallen and exploded in Oshigbudu, the same town in Agatu LGA of Benue State where similar incident happened on Sunday April 18th, 2021 resulting to many deaths and wanton destructions of properties.
A source who identified himself as Hon Oteyi Sunday, Agatu LGA Secretary who also hails from the town confirmed the unfortunate incident, saying it occurred at about 3:40am on Tuesday some metres away from where that of on Sunday took place.
He said, similar colossal damage was averted as people deserted the area shortly before the explosion occurred, adding that the conductor of the tanker was arrested as the driver escaped to an unknown location.
As at the time of filing this report, the inferno from the fuel explosion was still lingering on but no casualty was recorded.
