The APC National Youth League has appointed Jimoh Muhammed Rafiq, also known as Prince Raf, as the Edo Coordinator of the league. The appointment letter was presented on Sunday during a league meeting in Benin City.
The National President of the league, Comrade Olamidi Lawal, charged Prince Raf and the league members to mobilize for the success of APC candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo, and his running mate, Hon Dennis Idahosa, in the upcoming governorship election in the state.
Upon accepting the appointment, Prince Raf expressed his gratitude to the party leadership for finding him worthy to lead the league in the state. He pledged to mobilize support for the party’s success in Edo State. Members of the league in Edo state attested to Prince Raf’s honesty and leadership capabilities.
The meeting was attended by the National President, Comrade Olamide Lawal, the South South coordinator, Mr Nwachukwu Sadik, the Ogun State coordinator, Comrade Gateway Yunus Fayomi, and members of the league from across the 18 local government areas of Edo State.
The league is poised to work towards the victory of the APC candidates in the upcoming election.
