JUST IN: NURTW Endorses APC’s Okpebholo And Idahosa

In a significant boost to the gubernatorial campaign of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State, members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Edo North Branch, have endorsed the party’s governorship and deputy governorship candidates, Senator Monday Okpebholo and Hon. Idahosa, as their preferred choice for the upcoming election.

The endorsement, announced yesterday, came after the NURTW leadership, led by their union patron, Chief Joshua Ogene, pledged their unwavering support for the APC ticket.

Ogene assured Okpebholo and Idahosa of the union’s resolve to deliver them in the September 21st governorship election, citing the need to “rescue Edo State from the current tyrannical administration of Governor Godwin Obaseki.”

Expressing his gratitude for the endorsement, Okpebholo acknowledged the plight of the NURTW members and promised to address their concerns should he be elected as the next governor of Edo State.
