Presidency has spoken on Nnamdi Kanu’s arrest.

News Online reports that President Muhammadu Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, on Tuesday reacted to the arrest of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.

This online news platform had earlier reported that the IPOB leader was apprehended a combined team of Nigerian and foreign security agents in a coordinated interception.

The Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, on Tuesday announced the arrest of Kanu in a press briefing.

Bashir in a post on his Facebook account noted that the language of President Buhari is now clear for everyone to understand.

“The language is now so clear for everyone to understand,” he wrote.

Recall that President Buhari after a security meeting about the attacks on facilities of the Independent National Electoral Commission had threatened to deal with those who want to destroy his government.

He further stated that such people will be treated in a language they will understand.
