Loyalists of the strongman of Ogun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the late Senator Buruji Kashamu, have defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The defectors include the former Director General of the Governorship Campaign Team of Kashamu, Aare Remilekun Bakare and Commissioner for Special Duties during the administration of ex-Governor Gbenga Daniel, Chief Kola Sorinola
Bakare and Sorinola hoped that their movement from the PDP to the APC would bring more members to the party.
They said: “What the APC needs at this time is good management.”
According to them, Governor Dapo Abiodun is capable of providing that needed leadership.
