Many persons have been feared killed while others sustained injuries following communal strife between ibilla and Ukpa communities in Oju Local Government area in Benue south senatorial district.
The two neighbouring communities have been at logger heads over land before it culminated into a bloody clash on Thursday night.

Several houses, stores and shops were razed down in Ibila town.
Senator Abba Morro, who represents the constituency, condemned the bloody crisis and called on the two warring group to lay down their arms and embrace peace.
As at press time, a detachment of mobile police men was being deployed just as normalcy has been restored in the two affected communities.
