The photos of a couple in the East Java region of Indonesia has gone viral after the groom was seen wearing just a short on his wedding day.
The groom also was seen having an arm sling attached to his shoulder, with some bandages on the different parts of his body.
However, his bride did not abandon him but stood with him in their lavishing traditional Javanese wedding attire.
A Twitter user identified as @br0wski posted this image and it has gathered over 14500 likes and 2500 tweets.
One user asked, “can someone give me the behind story I am CURIOUS.”
Another joked, “Maybe this is what is called being married by accident.”
A third user commented, “the show must go on.”
Elinda Dwi Kristiani told local media that her wedding with her husband took place on April 2 at her residence in the Lengkong area, Nganjuk Regency, East Java.
Elinda explained that her husband was not able to wear his wedding dress because he had an operation due to the accident he had four days before their wedding date.
The bride told Kompas, an Indonesian newspaper, “My husband was involved in an accident while he went out to buy petrol. He suddenly lost consciousness on the way, then he fell off the motorcycle.”
