THE PRIDE OF EDO STATE
OSOSO AMBASSADOR

Here comes the 15–year – old young dude, Ajagun Gold, the record breaker, the one that has set Akoko Edo/Edo In the Map.

Ajagun Gold, is a student from “GLORYLAND” Secondary School, Igarra, Edo State. is among one of the best students that scored the highest mark in the just concluded 2023 JAMB Examination aggregate of 335.

His scores are as follows:
ENGLISH……70.
PHYSIC……..88.
CHEMISTRY…98.
BIOLOGY…….. 79
That brings his aggregate at 335.
Ajagun Gold is from Ososo, in Akoko Edo, LGA of Edo State
but born in Igarra the Administrative Headquarters of Akoko Edo.He was raised by his mother after he lost his father Mr. Ajagun the late chemistry teacher those days at Comprehensive High School, Igarra who died many years ago in a ghastly Auto accident involving Akoko Edo Bus along Benin road, may his soul rest in peace.

I made a post earlier about him on his victory but without attaching his picture to it that was because I didn’t have his picture the very day I made the post. but to my greatest surprised, his siblings chatted me up last night by thanking me appreciating me whatever so I decided to request for his pictures and they sent the pictures to me and here I am rebroadcasting it again.
Ajagun Gold is a handsome young dude, he would be celebrating his 15–years birthday comes September this year.

I was told that he has been topping his class as the best student from his Nursery school days till this very JAMB Examination and I was also told that he has represented his school in different external Examinations both within and outside Edo state but the most painful part of it is that he has not been given any prize by his school as a form of appreciated to encourage him to do more.

I am using this medium to call on Edo state government led by Mr. Godwin Obaseki, Edo State Commissioner of Education and the great people of Akoko Edo both those in Nigeria and in diaspora to at least let celebrate this hero by giving him a PRIZE as an award so that he can be encourage to do more in the nearest future we can as well taxed ourselves as individuals if govt can assist him…..

the mother is just a Primary School teacher teaching at Opozee Primary School, Igarra .
