The police have established a dedicated 13-member investigative team to probe the death of Mohbad.
The Lagos state commissioner of police, Idowu Owohunwa, emphasised that the police possess exclusive access to INTERPOL.
“Every individual connected to the case involving the death of Mohbad will be identified and thoroughly assessed for their level of involvement”, stated Mr Owohunwa on Monday.
The Nigerian Police made a statement to address the demise of Mohbad via its X handle as the Inspector-General of Police, Ag. IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, directed Mr Owohunwa to conduct a swift and thorough investigation into the death of Mohbad.
This directive was given in response to concerns and speculations surrounding Mohbad’s untimely demise. The police also encouraged anyone with relevant information to cooperate with the investigation to ensure justice is served
There are indications that Mohbad’s body will be exhumed for autopsy to complete the investigation.
