Oredo Local Government of Edo State, Prince Imasuen Eugene Enofe, has called on the people of Oredo, Edo State and Nigerians at large to maintain unity, faith and hope preached by Nigeria’s founding fathers as the country celebrates its 61st anniversary.
In his independence message, the business mogul cum politician stated that even though Nigeria is met head-on by extreme poverty and security challenges, he hoped the people will overcome the tough times.
His words, “evidence of determination and capacity to overcome terrifying challenges abounds in our strength in adversity and most especially amongst our resourceful youth who continue to make us proud.”
Saying it is the duty of every Nigerian to build a united, peaceful, economically strong and internationally respected country, with well motivated work-force and fulfilled citizens, Prince Imasuen Eugene Enofe urged all Edolites and Nigerians to stop abandoning politics and leaving political choices to only politicians.
He added, “we have every reason to rejoice and to keep hope alive and never ever rule out the fact that things will get better. God bless the good people of Oredo, Edolites and Federal Republic of Nigeria at large.”
