A nonagenarian woman, alongside several other respected elders, proudly accompanied the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate, Distinguished Senator Monday Okpebholo, to seek royal blessings from His Royal Majesty, Anselm Odaloighe Edenojie II (JPI MFR), the esteemed Ojuromi of Uromi Kingdom.
With grace and dignity, the nonagenarian led the procession, leaning on her walking stick, as they made their way to the palace. Senator Okpebholo followed with his entourage, humbled by the support and prayers offered by the community elders.
At the palace, amidst an atmosphere of reverence, the candidate graciously received the royal kolanut, symbolizing blessings from the monarch. He expressed heartfelt appreciation to the royal father for welcoming him as a cherished son of the land.
During his audience with palace chiefs, Senator Okpebholo engaged in meaningful dialogue, sought wise counsel, and shared warm exchanges with all present.
