The Things my Eyes have seen in the Thirty something Years iv lived will not Cease to Amaze me. I thought iv seen it all, Untill I Witnessed First Hand the Massive Fraud Presently going on at OKERE PRISON in Warri Delta State.
Early this Week, One of my Facebook Fans Messaged me that she needed my legal Advise, I gave her my number and she told me that she Met a Guy on facebook whom they have been getting along and has even Promised Marriage. That the guy was on his way to Asaba to see her from Port Harcourt when he had an Accident and the other party died.
He told her he was immediately arraigned before a court and that he has gotten a lawyer to apply for his Bail. The Lawyer also called the lady and told her that his charged are 150k which the lady Sent. She later went to OKERE PRISON and saw the Guy.
The next day, the lawyer called that he needs another 200k to pay the Sureties for the bail. It was then the lady contacted me and told me her instincts is telling her there was a foul play. From her narration, I knew some things do not add up. As she begged me to help her get to the root of the matter. Luckily for her, the next day I was free, so after court I headed straight to OKERE PRISON. I told her not to tell the guy I was coming, as he Claimed to have a small phone he was using to communicate inside the prison.
Upon my getting to OKERE PRISON, I saw a lot of Very Beautiful matured ladies all looking for their “Fiancee” some came with lots of Goodies, food, clothes, Can waters etc… When I approached the Security, the officer in charge Called me aside and asked me if I also Came to see my Fiance, I then told him I was already married and that I came to see a clients fiance…. Upon my Inquisitiveness and my snooping around, I got to Unveil the Huge Fraud going on in OKERE PRISON.
Inmates who are CONDEMN criminals that have either been sentenced to Life imprisonment, death by hanging, etc have devised a means to Extort Desperate ladies who are desirous of getting married.
They have all forms of expensive phones and engage in Social media, where they toast ladies, show them love and Promise them Marriage.
On the week of the Supposed Introduction, they will call the ladies and give them a Good story line, either that they had an Accident or the police Arrested them for one offense or the other. They will Use another Inmate to pose as either a Police Officer, Lawyer, Doctor, judge etc and ask You his “Fiance” to come and Help them.
The Billing begins with Money for Bail, Money for lawyer, money for Sureties, money to bribe the judge etc, until they suck you dry… Or the lady finally discovers their Trick.
These inmates work in Hand with the Prison Wardens who cover up their Track and make The ladies believe that they were just brought into the Prison, not knowing they have been there for years. They give ladies Different names and Alias… They use these monies to live like Kings Inside Prison.
Immediately my client called the guy and told him that her sister who is a lawyer is outside the prison waiting to see him, he became Angry and cut the phone on her. When I got in, I had to show the Warders his pics that he sent to my client, which they used in bringing him out . When I saw this guy, he looks so fresh, he wore designers shredded jeans, Gold necklace, Gold wristwatch, and Gold bracelets…
He was holding a Can water….. I had to use Warri style to Earn him that if he ever calls my client again, I will post his pictures all over social media. He started begging me not to. This guy has been in Prison for over 5years but told my client that he was arrested last week FRIDAY..
From what some of the Warders who are not part of the plot told me in Confidence, is that, Some of these inmates who lie to these ladies that they are Shell , NNPC Staffs, Contractors or Off Shore Workers in lagos, Abuja, PH, etc have duped women over 1.6million, 16million, the least is around 200k. Some are even building houses whilst in prison I even heard they duped a lady 2.5million naira two days ago, the guy told her that he needs that Amount to “Settle” the family of the person that died during the Accident, he asked the lady to Collect the money from Money Lender that he will pay with interest when he comes out the next day. After everything, the lady later realized she was Scammed by an Inmate.
They use Voodoos to talk with these ladies, and some of these women get hooked, after sending the first 150k, these criminals will ask them to go and take loans that once they come out they will pay with interest. They even have some outsiders who work with them whom they send to go and Collect these monies from their “Magas”
My Advise to Ladies .. please don’t be desperate to marry, Any Man who hasn’t paid a dime on your head, and comes to tell you any Story that requires you spending money, no matter how Pathetic the story looks like, get a lawyer to help you investigate if not, you will be on a long Thing…
Imagine spending all your money on an Inmate who has been sentenced to life imprisonment? Na wah …. Let’s becareful out there…
