Mr. Osaze Imasogie, a chieftain of All Progressive Congress APC in Uhunmwode local government and philanthropist, has extended his warm greetings and best wishes to the Muslim community in Edo State and across Nigeria on the occasion of the Eid Al-Kabir celebration.
In his message, Mr. Imasogie described the Sallah festival as a time of great spiritual significance, where Muslims commemorate the unwavering faith and sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim. He emphasized the importance of this celebration in fostering unity, compassion and togetherness within the Nigerian society.
“As we come together to celebrate this joyous occasion, I urge all Nigerians to embrace the spirit of sacrifice, generosity and peaceful coexistence that the Eid Al-Kabir represents,” Mr. Imasogie said. “Let us use this opportunity to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and promote harmony among people of all faiths.”
The businessman further called on Nigerians to reflect on the values of the Islamic faith, which emphasize the importance of serving humanity, caring for the less fortunate, and promoting social justice. He expressed his hope that the Eid Al-Kabir would inspire all Nigerians to work towards a more prosperous and united nation.
