Osaze Imasogie Turns Mother’s Burial To Carnival In Benin

Late Mrs Jane Oasemwinda Imasogie’s burial ceremony, the mother of APC leader Osaze Imasogie, also known as Ozigidon, transformed into a vibrant carnival in Benin, Edo state.

The festivities kicked off on Friday as the procession carried the body from the Military hospital mortuary to the family residence on Textile Mill Road in Benin.

The atmosphere was reminiscent of a carnival, with lively music and dancing leading up to the burial ceremony.

The entertainment continued at a popular Edo hotel in GRA, where guests were treated to a night of celebration.

The ceremony attracted a host of notable guests, including His Excellency, Governor Godwin Obaseki, Edo APC Chieftain Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, PDP Governorship Candidate Asue Ighodalo, Senator Uzamere, CEO of DVD Oil and Gas, Hon Valentine Asue, APC Youth Leader Tony Kabaka, APC State Secretary Lawrence Okah, Commissioner for Works and Bridges Hon Ethan Uzamere, Hon Osaro Obaze, PDP Governorship Campaign Director Matthew Uduekemhe, Hon Pius Odubu, and many others.

The festivities continued into Sunday with a Thanksgiving service and more entertainment for the guests in attendance.

Notable figures such as APC governorship candidate Senator Monday Okpebholo, Hon Dennis Idahosa, Emperor Jarrett Tenebe, and members of APC state working committee  were present during the interment on Friday, paying their respects to the late Mrs Jane Oasemwinda Imasogie.

 

The burial ceremony truly turned into a lively carnival, celebrating the life of a beloved mother and Iye-Eki of new Benin market.
