Over 740 Edo widows Benefits from Joe Okojie Largesse

More than 740 widows have again benefited from the selfless services to God and humanity, offered by Hon. Prince Joe Okojie, as Christmas gifts across wards in Esan North East Local Government Area of Edo state.

Prince Joe Okojie, who was represented by Hon. Mohab Musa, distributed the items on Friday December 24, 2021, a day to Christmas, at the government girls primary school in Uromi, he said it has been a tradition for the past 17 years, as food items and cash are always distributed to provide succor and relief as well touch lives of the vulnerable and widows in the constituency in order to make them feel and celebrate the joy of the birth of Jesus Christ.

Hon. Moha Haruna, appreciated the kind gesture exhibited by Prince Joe Okojie, for remembering the widows especially at this time when the nation’s economy is harsh. He then prayed that God repay the donor with more resources to do more.

In a remark, the Woman leader of ward 5, Mrs Josephine, has commended the donor, as she remarks that the philanthropy of Prince Joe Okojie in the development of the community will remain indelible.

Meanwhile, Hon. Prince Joe Okojie has felicitated with people of his Esan North East LGA, on the occasion of the Christmas Celebration, he added that there was no political motive or ulterior motive in his laudable charity works but stressed that as far as he lives he will continue to maintain the momentum.

He stated this in a telephone conversation with urbanscoopmedia, he further lamented over the downturn in the nation’s economy, which has made it unable for some people to buy food items to celebrate the yuletide.

The beneficiaries, includes Mrs. Areobolu, and Omonigho, who said they were highly overwhelmed with joy and then showered encomiums on the philantrophist and prayed God to reward him abundantly.
