The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State has released the list of its chairmanship candidates for the forthcoming local government polls.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the list, which was signed by the Secretary of the party, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, contains names of all the successful candidates in all the 33 local government areas of the state.
They emerged after the primary election, which took place in all the local government areas.
The list of the chairmanship candidates is as follows:
Ibadan North: Oluwaseun Olufade
Ibadan South West: Kehinde Adegbola Akande
Ibadan North East: Ibrahim Akintayo
Ibadan North West: Rahman Olarewaju Adepoju
Ibadan South East: Emmanuel Alawode
Ido: Sheriff Adeojo
Lagelu: Kamorudeen Mudashiru
Ona Ara: Kolapo Temitop
Oluyole: Akeem Akinwale Olatunji
Egbeda: Sikiru Sanda
Akinyele: Wole Akinleye
Oyo East: Olusola Peters Oluokun
Oyo West: Akeem Salami Babatunde
Atisbo: Waheed Waliu Adetunji
Afijio: Aikomo Olufemi Emmanuel
Ogbomoso South: Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy

The PDP candidates are expected to face off with candidates of other parties in the LG election, which is scheduled to take place in April 2024.
