Development in Edo State People’s Democratic Party-PDP seems not to be palatable at the moment as the oppression in the state has taken a new level.
At the venue, the team leader who came with a troop of Edo State-owned Government Security Operatives (Edo Security Network) noted that “we have been ordered from above to come and seal up this property and nothing else.”
The PDP Vice Chairman, Edo South Senatorial District, Barr. Nosa Ogieva whose office was being sealed up presented all the necessary documents and permission to operate but the team said, “the order was given from the Government House and no one can stop us.”
The Chief State Security Officer to the Governor of Edo State who came with a multitude of Nigerian Policemen came to whisk away one of the staff working on the premises saying, he came there for a special assignment. According to the CSO, “we are aware that our staff are here. I came here because I have been informed that Government Officer was fought.”
As of the time of this report, Ogieva is yet to know the location of his staff while lamenting that by asking, “is it wrong to be a member of the PDP?”
The Deputy State Chairman of Edo PDP who was incidentally at the scene tried to interview but the “errands” said, “we do not want to know whether or not the property got documents and permission.”
