The leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward ten of Etsako Central local government area, Mr. Salifu Musa, has urged the leadership of the party in Edo North Senatorial district to support the aspiration of Rt. Hon. Abubakar Momoh to emerge as the Candidate of the party in next year’s Senatorial primaries .
Musa, who was a former Social Democratic Party (SDP) Chairman in the local government and die hard loyalist of Momoh made this Known yesterday at Fugar in an interview with newsmen.
He said, if Momoh is nominated as the Candidate of the party come 2023, APC would record landslide victory in the Senatorial district, stressing that Engr. Momoh would run an all inclusive representation in consideration of his outstanding performance while he was in the House of Representatives.
According to him, Engr Momoh has distinguished himself as a Man who can be trusted with power in view of his past political records where he gave everyone a sense of belonging.
The former SDP Chair reiterated that the emergence of Momoh as APC candidate would be a big relief to the party.
He described the former HOR ranking member as a heavyweight Politician and a man sent from God to liberate his people, stressing that his diligence and ability to mobilise people stands him out as a selfless leader and a patrotic Nigerian especially as it relates to building of a more united and better Edo North .
The party leader, affirmed that, Momoh’s skills in mobilizing people had truly galvanized the APC not only in Edo North Senatorial district, but in the entire state.
He added that Momoh is a political strategist who has used his influence and talents to swell up the membership base of the party.
