SUBEB Chairman, Omonzane Ebanehita Felicitates with Muslims on Eid-el-Kabir

The Chairman of the Edo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Omonzane Ebanehita Sonia, has extended warm felicitations to Muslims in Edo State on the occasion of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

In a statement, Sonia described the Eid-el-Kabir celebration as a symbol of faith, sacrifice, and devotion to God.

Sonia noted that the celebration is an opportunity for Muslims to reflect on the values of compassion, kindness, and generosity embodied by the Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son Ismail.

She urged Muslims to emulate these values in their daily lives, promoting peace, unity, and understanding in their communities.

The SUBEB Chairman prayed that the Eid-el-Kabir celebration would bring joy, peace, and prosperity to Muslim faithful in Edo State.

She wished them a happy and blessed celebration, and reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to promoting education and development in the state.
