A 17-year-old girl allegedly impregnated by her own father in Eket has been spotted begging for survival in Uyo.
Focus Naija can report that the father has been defiling her since last year after the demise of her mother. She said she stopped seeing her period since December and when her father pushed her out because of the pregnancy, she moved to Uyo in search for anyone that may be interested in the unborn child.
“Yesterday, she was spotted at Plaza asking people around if they have a need for a baby. She needed a family to take her in till she put to birth and handover the baby to the family.“, a source wrote.
She has been handed over to a member of the Akwa Ibom State Gender Based Violence Committee and the matter reported to the police for further investigation
