Tems Breaks Silence After Grammy Win

Nigeria’s latest Grammy award winner, Tems has reacted to her recent achievement.

In a Twitter post, the globally acclaimed superstar expressed unreserved gratitude to God for the great work He’s done for her.

 

 

Born Temilade Openiyi, the songstress recently won an award at Grammys for her feature on American rapper, Future’s song.

The collaboration earned her a colossal win in the ‘Best Melodic Rap Performance’ category for her feature on Future’s ‘Wait For U’ ft. Drake at the 65th edition of the world’s prestigious musical honours.

Events that followed saw her exchanged pleasantries with top international acts who praised her musical prowess and others calling for a collaboration with her.

Totally humbled by all the love she’s been receiving coupled with the award which has now made her the first female Nigerian Afrobeats act to be honoured by the Grammys, Tems returned all the Glory to God.

 

She also appreciated her fans, Rebel Gang, all over the globe and everyone else who has been supportive of her craft.

“What God has done for me, I can’t even speak. All the glory really belongs to Him,” the 27-year-old singer tweeted..

“To everyone one that has been supporting me still. Through everything, please know I don’t take it for granted. I truly appreciate it, the love has been too too much.
