A man was reported to have killed his wife before committing suicide in Kibwezi, Eastern Kenya, on Tuesday, 27, 2021.
The two had separated over marital wrangles. Reports indicated that the man attacked his estranged wife with a machete.
The man is said to have hanged himself a few meters from where he had reportedly killed the lady.
The incident just three days after a 38-year-old man hacked his wife to death in Sotik, Kenya’s Rift Valley, before hanging himself.
According to the local authorities, the man hacked his wife with a machete following a domestic quarrel whose genesis is yet to be established. The woman succumbed to severe injuries while being rushed to a nearby hospital.
After attacking his wife, the man hanged himself on a tree, and his body was retrieved on Monday morning.
