Twitter User Calls Out Music Stars Absent At Wizkid’s Mother’s Burial

In a poignant moment for music star Wizkid, he bid farewell to his late mother in a solemn burial ceremony attended by several prominent figures from the entertainment industry.

However, the absence of some well-known colleagues at the event has stirred controversy and discussions among fans and social media users.

The absence of fellow artistes such as Davido, Burna Boy, Olamide, Tems, and Banky W did not go unnoticed. Twitter was abuzz with comments, notably from user Oriretan Honour, who expressed disappointment at the no-show of these prominent figures. Honour’s tweet highlighted the absence of certain artistes, pointing out that Wizkid, visibly emotional during the ceremony, received limited support from his peers.

“It’s unwise how Wizkid is burying his mum, crying his eyes out yet OBO, who clouts to trend, isn’t seen near him. More unwise how Burna, Olamide, Tems, BankyW… are not there to cheer him up,” Honour tweeted.

He suggested that this absence might reflect underlying envy and hate within the industry. Honour also hinted at potential karma, indicating that this could be a consequence of not supporting others in the past.

It’s important to note that Davido, one of the absentees, is currently celebrating the recent arrival of his twins with his wife, Chioma, which could explain his absence from Wizkid’s mother’s burial.

As fans and industry insiders react to the Twitter user’s observations, discussions about support, camaraderie, and unity in the music industry are gaining momentum.
