Former Manchester City midfielder, Steve McManaman, has named Pep Guardiola’s side as the favourite team to win the UEFA Champions League this season.
McManaman, a former Real Madrid and Liverpool star, stated this while speaking on BT Sport on Thursday.
DAILY POST reports that the UEFA Champions League was announced today.
Man City are in Group G, alongside Sevilla, Dortmund and Copenhagen.
“They are a great side and the favourites to win this competition,” McManaman said.
“But sometimes you need a little bit more. That might come this year, that little bit of luck might go against them.”
