The Imo State Police Command says it has commenced an investigation after a man’s penis was cleaved off over an charge he was working against IPOB as a government informant.
In a horrific video shared online, a politician popularly known as Matador Enyi-Oha na Orsu, had his male member chopped off on Saturday, July 3. He was then paraded naked, with blood oozing out of his severed penis.
A voice in the video, believed to be an IPOB supporter, said they carried out the act because the man is a “saboteur” who is working with the government against IPOB.
The man, from Orsu Iheti Ikea in Imo State, was also accused of being a “slave to the Fulani” who is selling his people and fighting against his people.
Reacting to the horrific video, the Imo State Police Command said it had commenced investigation into the incident.
“The Imo Commissioner of Police Abutu Yaro is aware of the iniquitous and obscene video that has gone viral on social media where a man was seen tied horizontally to a stick undergoing inhuman act by some suspected hoodlums,” a statement by the command’s spokesperson, Michael Abattam read.
