Activist VeryDarkMan has been released from police detention following an arrest instigated by Nollywood actress and philanthropist, Tonto Dikeh.
GWG.ng reports that Tonto Dikeh had initiated legal proceedings against activist VeryDarkMan, following his Instagram accusations claiming she used the death of musician Mohbad for clout chasing.
GWG.ng reports that the critic had referred to Tonto and fellow actress Iyabo Ojo as “failed actresses” for allegedly preventing Mohbad’s father from seeing his son. In response, Iyabo Ojo retaliated with insults, criticizing VeryDarkMan and his mother for his upbringing.
In contrast, Tonto Dikeh opted for legal action, sharing images of the activist at a police station on Instagram. She emphasized the importance of maintaining a respectful distance when dealing with elders and expressed her commitment to pursuing the matter through legal channels.

The move showcases Tonto Dikeh’s determination to address the alleged defamation and serves as a reminder of the need for responsible communication on social media.
However, late on Wednesday, VeryDarkMan breathed freedom and celebrated with his lawyer.
