The Director of Public Affairs and Chief Spokesperson, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu/Senator Kashim Shettima Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Festus Keyamo (SAN), on Thursday said the Peter Obi Movement “has collapsed so soon”.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Obi is a former governor of Anambra State and the presidential candidate of the Labour Party for the 2023 election. His supporters fondly call themselves ‘the Odidients’.
Keyamo, also the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, was reacting to the decision of Obi to settle for persons of Igbo extraction as heads of his campaign in Lagos, Sokoto, and other states. Critics have accused the Labour Party presidential flag-bearer of displaying “ethnic bigotry” with his choice.
