Agbebaku Flags Off ‘Owan House-to-house, Quarter-to Quarter Campaign For Ighodalo

… Visits houses, quarters in Sabongidda-Ora, Uzebba, Uhonmora-Ora, others

It was a very impressive and cheerful show to behold as the Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Blessing Agbebaku, flagged off ‘Owan house-to-house, quarter to quarter
campaign’ for Dr Asue Ighodalo, ahead of the September 21 guber election in Edo State.

The Speaker of the Assembly held meetings with women, youths, and a good number of men from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Labour Party (LP).

The attendees, with the APC and LP members, assured the Speaker of their resolve to mobilize support and vote for Asue/Ogie in the forthcoming governorship election in the State.

The various houses/quarters visited include: gathering of women, youth and men at Dele Imoukhuede House along Oise Road in Sabongidda-Ora; Stumber Spot, Uzebba Ward 9; large number of Okpokhumi women at Uhonmora-Ora; Okpokhumi youths and elders of Uhonmora-Ora in Owan West LGA of the State.

Stakeholders and coordinators of the various groups were amazed by the humility and selfless nature of the Speaker, describing his kind as rare and hard to find.

Agbebaku, while galvanizing support for the September 21 election of Asue/Ogie said, “I am here to urge you to join us and vote for Asue Ighodalo as Governor.
“There is need to vote for PDP because it’s a party that has human face and the interest of the people at heart.
“We have been doing our part to ensure we put smiles on the faces of our people and I assure you that a vote for PDP is a vote that will sustain and guarantee a truly prosperous Edo.

” I thank you so much for the support so far. We must not lose what God has given us as a people.
“We will continue to get stronger and more united.”

Responding, Mrs Ohiole Blessing, Paul Ohilebo Mene, Ekeinde Alaba Stumber and other spokespersons of the quarters, unanimously assured the speaker of their firm support for the PDP guber candidate, noting that, they will support and vote for the PDP in the September election.

Hon. Tutu Paul Airaodion and Hon. Dele Imoukhuede, lauded the efforts of the Speaker in leading and showing the light for others to follow, stressing the need why PDP should win the election in order to birth the Edo of our dream.
