Benin Shutdown As Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu Visits Oredo APC Leaders

The atmosphere was electrifying as Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) leading aspirant for the Edo State forthcoming gubernatorial election, stormed Oredo local government in continuation of his local government tour.

The campaign event turned into a carnival-like celebration as supporters eagerly awaited Ize-Iyamu at the 3rd cemetery junction at Urubi. As he arrived, the crowd erupted in cheers and chants, and they began to march and dance their way to the Oredo local APC Secretariat.

The energy and excitement among the supporters were palpable as they showed their unwavering support for Ize-Iyamu and the APC. The streets were filled with people singing and dancing, creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere.

Ize-Iyamu addressed the enthusiastic crowd and leaders, emphasizing his vision and plans for Oredo local government and the entire state. He spoke passionately about his commitment to bringing about positive change and development, and his words resonated with the crowd.

Furthermore, Ize-Iyamu revealed why APC lost 2020 governorship election, saying there were internal issues within our party that hindered our success in the election. There was a lack of and cooperation among party leaders outside Edo, with some individuals putting their personal interests above the party’s.

Additionally, there were allegations of electoral malpractice and irregularities during the election process. These factors combined to contribute to our loss in that election.

However, despite the disappointment of that loss, we have learned valuable lessons and have grown stronger as a party. We have identified our weaknesses and are striving to address them.

We remain grateful to the leaders and people of Oredo for their unwavering support during that time, and we assure you that we will continue to work tirelessly to earn your trust and support.

Together, we can overcome the challenges we face and ensure a brighter future for Oredo and Edo State as a whole.

Ize-Iyamu also revealed that APC got over 1billion Naira in Edo South and wonder why people are spreading rumors that he refused to spend campaign funds he collected during the last election.

The Oredo visit was a clear demonstration of the widespread support and enthusiasm for Ize-Iyamu’s candidacy in Oredo local government. The campaign tour was not only a platform for Ize-Iyamu to connect with the leaders, but it also served as a testament to the overwhelming support he has garnered throughout the local government.
