BREAKING: Amotekun Rescues 3 Remaining Lagos Passengers Kidnapped In Ondo


Men of the Ondo state command of the southwest security network code-named Amotekun have rescued the remaining three (3) travelers abducted by some bandits in the state on Wednesday, Nigerian cable news online has gathered.

They were rescued on Friday evening. reported how the victims, who were passengers heading from Abuja to Lagos in an 18 seater bus, were attacked by the armed men between Idoani Ifira axis of the state.

The incident occurred on the failed portion of the Idoani-Ifira road in Akoko Southeast local government area of the state.


The Amotekun operative had earlier rescued nine(9) of the twelve (12) victims kidnaped in the bus on Wednesday, after a swift response to distress calls by concerned citizens.

While confirming this development, the Commander of Amotekun in the state, Chief Adetunji Adeleye said the victims would be released to reunited with their family members on Saturday.

“I can confirm to you that we have rescued the three remaining victims and they will be released to reunited with their families today,” Adeleye said.
