BREAKING: [Edo Guber] APC Empty Labour Party In Igueben LGA

In a significant political development, the entire structure of the Labour Party in Igueben Local Government Area of Edo State has defected to the All Progressive Congress (APC).

The leader of the decampees, Mr. Sunday Radia, cited the APC as the winning party and highlighted some of the notable projects carried out under the leadership of former Governor Adams Oshiomhole.

Radia lamented that development in Igueben had stalled since Oshiomhole’s tenure and vowed to deliver the APC governorship candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo, in the upcoming September 21st gubernatorial election in Edo State.

The decampees were warmly received by the Director-General of the APC Campaign Council, Senator Matthew Urhoghide, and other party leaders. Urhoghide expressed his delight, stating that the Esan people will finally have a governor and a senator after a long wait, promising further development for the people of Esan.

Urhoghide assured the defectors of equal rights and opportunities within the APC, underscoring the party’s commitment to unity and inclusive governance.
