Massive show of love as the Uwesa community turned out for their son, Senator Monday Okpebholo, during the APC ward-to-ward campaign in Esan Central:
The event was marked by an outpouring of support and enthusiasm from the Uwesa community, the hometown of the APC governorship candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo. The Director-General of the campaign, Senator Mathew Uroghide, set the tone by stating that they were not there to campaign, as this was the home of their son, Senator Okpebholo.
Former Governor of Edo State, Senator Adams Oshiomhole, further reinforced the sentiment, emphasizing that Okpebholo was a son of the soil who did not need an interpreter to communicate with the people. Oshiomhole urged the Esan people to support their own, as Okpebholo was someone who knew the community and its needs well.
The APC deputy governorship candidate, Hon. Dennis Idahosa, echoed these sentiments, stating that God had specially chosen Okpebholo from the Uwesa community. He charged the people to give the APC maximum support.
Finally, the APC governorship candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo, expressed his joy at the massive turnout, assuring the people of a massive transformation in Edo State if elected.
