The Esan North East chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo state has taken a decisive step by removing its Local Government Area (LGA) Chairman, Mr Emmanuel Ibhagbemien, and Secretary, Mr Ambrose Ayewoh. The decision was made during an emergency meeting attended by 18 members of the party.
The move to remove Ibhagbemien and Ayewoh from their respective positions came as a result of allegations of financial mismanagement and other serious offenses.
The APC in Esan North East felt it necessary to take firm action in order to address these issues and prevent further damage to the party’s credibility.
To ensure that the party could continue its operations smoothly, Hon Abraham Isiwile was elected as the acting chairman of the Esan North East APC.
Isiwile, known for his integrity and competence, is expected to lead the party in addressing the challenges it currently faces. Moreover, Mr Felix Okoedion was chosen as the new secretary to support Isiwile in his endeavors.
