The former permanent secretary in the ministry of Agriculture and ruler development and APC frontline governorship aspirant, Dr Ernest Afolabi Umakhihe, has commiserated with the APC and people of Etsako west, over the sudden passing of Hon, Engr Fatai Dirisu and Comrade Kaka on their way from Abuja.
Hon, Engr Fatai Dirisu was the Etsako West vice chairmanship candidate in the last local government election in Edo state, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a heartfelt message, Dr Ernest Afolabi Umakhihe, expressed his deepest condolences to the APC family and the people of Etsako West. He acknowledged the tragic deaths of Hon, Engr Fatai Dirisu and Comrade Kaka, who lost their lives in a fatal accident while returning from Abuja.
Dr Umakhihe said that their death is a loss to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State, especially at a time the APC needs experienced members to consolidate its popularity across the state, is a great loss as we prepare for the 2024 governorship elections.”
Dr Umakhihe further said that the late Chieftains will be greatly missed, as he offered his prayers and well-wishes for the grieving families and hoped for the injured individuals to recover swiftly.
