In a show of political strength, Dr. Paddy Emmanuel Iyamu, a prominent figure within the All Progressives Congress (APC), yesterday held a youth rally in Oredo Local Government Area (LGA).
The rally, which was well-attended, saw the presence of several notable leaders in the local government, including former Edo house of assembly member, Hon. Chris Okabea, Prince Iyase, Hon. Uyi, and Hon. Omorede Osifo.
The rally, which was aimed at mobilizing the youth in support of the APC, witnessed a significant number of decampees joining the party’s fold.
Dr. Iyamu and other leaders jointly charged the people to cast their votes for Senator Monday, a move that is seen as a strategic step towards strengthening the party’s support base.
The campaign train also made a stop at the market, where Dr. Iyamu empowered 10 market women with financial assistance.
This gesture was well-received by ward 1,2 and 3, as it demonstrated the candidate’s commitment to the welfare of the people.
