Oshiomole Leads Edo APC Leadership On Condolence Visit To Late Prince Malik Afegbua’s Family

In a show of solidarity, the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State, led by former Governor Adams Oshiomhole, paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Prince Malik Afegbua in Okpella.

Speaking at the event, Oshiomhole expressed deep sadness at the loss of their friend and political ally. He assured the Afegbua family that they had always been a responsible and supportive part of the APC family. Oshiomhole recalled how Prince Malik had steadfastly supported him during his 2007 gubernatorial campaign, assuring him of victory.

“He has always been there for us, and we will all miss him dearly,” Oshiomhole said, apologizing for not coming earlier to pay his respects.

The APC candidate for the upcoming Edo gubernatorial election, Senator Monday Okpebholo, and other party chieftains, including the state Deputy Governor, Hon. Philip Shaibu, Minister of Niger Delta Hon Abubakar Momoh, Edo State APC Chairman Jarrett Tenebe, Abu Mapata were present to share in the grief.

The first son of the late Prince Malik expressed gratitude for the APC leadership’s visit, pleading that the party should not disappoint the Afegbua family. He promised to continue his father’s legacy by ensuring APC’s victory in Okpella in the next election.
