Edo Guber: Ikpoba Okhai Agog As Dr Ernest Afolabi Umakhihe Visits APC Leaders

Dr. Ernest Afolabi Umakhihe, the permanent secretary in the ministry of Agriculture and ruler development, as well as a leading frontline Egor Edo APC Governorship Aspirant, recently paid a visit to the Ikpoba Okhai APC Leaders as part of his ongoing visits to various local governments.

During his visit, Dr. Umakhihe expressed his strong connection to Ikpoba Okhai, stating that it is like a second home to him, as the group that purchased his nomination forms are from this area. He went on to highlight his extensive experience and accomplishments in various leadership positions, including his nomination by President Muhammed Buhari as permanent secretary and his construction of several roads across the 3 Senatorial districts.

Dr. Umakhihe also emphasized his plans for the development and empowerment of the people of Ikpoba Okhai and beyond, particularly in the areas of health, education, youths empowerment, and infrastructure. He mentioned specific projects such as the construction of a flyover at Ikpoba hill and the rebuilding of Ramat Park to modern standards, as well as his commitment to empowering farmers and ensuring the security of the people of Edo.

In response to Dr. Umakhihe’s visit, prominent members of the APC in Ikpoba Okhai praised his dedication and vision for the development of the local government. Mrs. Erabor, the APC woman leader, commended his character and the patience of the women who waited for him at the airport, while the board of trustees chairman of Edo Unity Front highlighted their support for him as a means of holding him accountable for the development of the LGA.

 

The leaders led by Chief victor Ekhaito offered prayers and and wished Dr Umakhihe well in securing the APC ticket.

Overall, Dr. Umakhihe’s visit to Ikpoba Okhai was met with enthusiasm and support, as he continues to rally for the APC Governorship Aspirant position.
